I was born in Muswell Hill, London but shortly after that my family relocated to Hong Kong. Being raised and educated in such an international city gave me a love for travel and experiencing new places (a huge asset for professional golf). Growing up it is fair to say my interests lay firmly in sports and the outdoors. I had the opportunity to play a large variety of sports and was able to excel at a few of them; most notably field hockey where I was able to compete internationally as part of the Hong Kong national team. My introduction to the game of golf came at a very early age courtesy of the fact that my father is also a professional golfer. I have grown up around the game and this has given me a deep affection for all aspects of it. I didn’t take a strong interest in competitive golf until the age of 14 when I was selected to represent Hong Kong internationally at junior level. I retained my place on the team until I turned 18 then I continued representing Hong Kong as an adult and did so until I turned professional. Representing my home country has always been a source of great pride for me and looking back are some of my fondest golfing memories as a junior. My junior career allowed me the chance to further my golfing education (and academic) at the University of Stirling in Scotland. My course of study was a double major in History and Sports Studies. I got the opportunity to broaden my golf skillls in some truly terrible weather while playing the best links courses in the world. During my time at Stirling I was able to write my own piece of golf history at The Home of Golf: St Andrews. I became the first golfer from Hong Kong to ever win the Boyd Quaich. My tenure at Stirling was followed by a year representing Hong Kong as an amateur worldwide. In 2016 I made the decision to turn professional after earning a spot on the Alps Tour. I played 3 seasons in Europe and the UK before heading home to Asia. I played on the China Tour in 2019 and earned full status for the 2020 season. After Covid-19 I played the Tartan Tour in 2022-2024. This season I will play on the Challenge Tour in Europe as well as China Tour basing myself out of the Macau Golf and Country Club as their touring professional ambassador.

Outside of golf I still maintain my love of the outdoors and anything active. I am a big animal lover... I have 3 dogs; Coco, Rufus and Pops who keep me outside and busy when I am home. I am an avid reader of both fiction and non fiction books. The general areas of non fiction are either history related or educational. My taste in films is far less educational as my 2 favorite sets of films are the Dark Knight trilogy and the How To Train Your Dragon movies. I am a big fan of cooking and being in the kitchen, its safe to say I don’t have a signature dish nailed yet. However many people have eaten my food and gone on to live normal, healthy lives.
